Translate My Menu is a mobile Services and website (the “Services“) provided by Translate My Menu LLC (the “Company”) which allow users (“User”) to access and read restaurant menus both in English and in their native language.

The Company is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information whilst striving to provide the very best user experience. We want our Services to be safe and enjoyable for everyone. Under the applicable Privacy Protection legislation and related laws, we have a legal duty to protect the personal information that we collect from you. We respect your privacy. Therefore we never share or sell your personal information with any third parties. Any information collected through this site is intended to be used for this transaction only.  Your personal information is secured via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Technology.

In order to use our services (as detailed in the Terms of Use), you should subscribe by setting up a user account.

During your subscription, you will be required to provide certain personal information.

The registration can be done using your user Facebook/Twitter credentials (or any other supported authentication method).

Username cannot be on impersonation, the same or confusingly similar to famous trademark, or be a term that is offensive in any way. You may, use your own name or the name of your company if you are eligible to do so. If you use your own name, you consent to it being passed to others by use of the functions of the Services. Translate My Menu reserves the right to reject or remove any username that does not meet applicable standards.

Demographic and other data: we may use tracking technology to collect information about your use of our Services, information about your device such as your device ID, IP address and browser type, demographic data, location and, if you arrived at the Services via a link from a site other than the relevant App Store, the URL of the linking page. It may also collect your name and email address.


Use of Collected Information

The Company owns information that it collects when you use our Services. The Company will use it, as applicable, to:

  • Provide you with services or information that you have requested or products or services that you have ordered.
  • Monitor or improve the performance of the Services, and products and services available.
  • Monitor compliance with our terms and conditions of use of the Services, enforce our rights and protect the safety of others including investigating and if necessary removing any content about which we receive a complaint.
  • Send you promotional materials or special offers on our behalf or on behalf of our group companies and marketing partners. If you don’t want to receive this marketing information you can notify us during the registration process. You can stop receiving this information at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions on the correspondence you receive or by amending your marketing preferences.
  • For any purpose if we are required to do so by any law or other regulatory or government authority.


By providing the Company with your personal information, you consent to: (a) the processing of your information as set out in this privacy policy and in any other manner you expressly consent to; (b) the processing of your sensitive personal data (if provided); and (c) transferring your information to countries or jurisdictions which may not provide the same level of data protection as the United States of America, if necessary for these purposes.

Your information is collected through the relevant App Store and certain information is passed on to the Company. The Company stores this information on servers that are owned and maintained by or on behalf of the Company. The Company may keep your information for a reasonable period for the purposes set out in this privacy policy.

The Services will collect the information and history of user activity, including his/her location, images, accessed menus and uploaded content.


Links to Other Websites

These Services may contain links to the websites and the Company may display advertisements from third parties in the Services. The Company is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these websites or for third party advertisers, even if they use the Services’ logo as part of a co-branding agreement, nor for the way in which information about their users is treated. Before submitting any personal information to such websites, you should check their privacy policy.


Communications with Others

The Services may allow you to contribute to one or more blogs or communicate by means of online functions (such as Talkbacks and venue ratings).

Nothing requires you to disclose your identity to others. If you choose to disclose your identity to third parties using any function or service, you do so at your own risk. The Company is not responsible for the privacy or security of any information, personal or otherwise that you may choose to communicate or exchange using the functionality of the Services.

Each item of information or any materials you contribute for such purposes are your “Public Content”. Public Content must be content and information that you have a right to disclose and transfer and must not violate any other person’s privacy or intellectual property rights.



In accordance with our requirements under the applicable Privacy Protection legislation, the Company will adopt appropriate security procedures to help prevent unauthorized access to your information.


Business or Asset Transfer or Sale

The Company may be sold, might sell or buy businesses or assets of businesses, or the Company might merge with another business. By using the Services you agree to the terms of this privacy policy, the Company’s Term of Uses. The Company may amend this privacy policy and/or the Term of Uses from time to time. If the Company does so, an updated version will be available through a link in the Services. You will be bound by the new terms upon your continued use of the Services.
